I'm putting my self out there.  It's not an easy thing to do. However, if I want to share my work it needs to be done.  These three photos will soon be for sale at Shop 11 in downtown Walla Walla.  Stop on in, take a look and while you're there check out the other items sold there that have been created by local artisans.

In late September a friend and I look a trip to Camp MiVoden located in Northern Idaho.  It had been raining during the majority of our visit but after lunch there was a break in the weather that allowed for some out door exploration. seizing the moment we grabbed our cameras headed into the forest.   As we returned to camp, we came upon this patch of wild raspberry vines.  The fall colors were absolutely amazing! The copper tones shone so brightly on this cloudy day and the bright greens were unbelievable for that time of year. I have seen many raspberry leaves in fall but none as beautiful as this.

In Honor of Lance (my little brother) and Stacy's one year anniversary today (July 25th) I'd like to share just a few of their engagement photos that I was privileged enough to take.  They are two peas in a pod in many ways and I am glad that they have each other to share life's journey with.  I love you both very much!

Rain. It has always been one of my favorite things in nature.  There is a special way it cleans the air, brightens the colors, and renews the world.  These rain drops caught my attention because they appeared like jewels resting on a velvet cushion, sparkling in the sunlight.

The photo below was taken while on a hike from Lower McCloud Falls to Middle McCloud Falls.  Growing up I spent a lot of time in the Blue Mountains of Southeastern Washington.  Now that I live in Northern California I have enjoyed the times I've been able to explore the surrounding area.  Its times like these that I truly feel close to home.
